Fall is almost in the air! With back to school and a few trees starting to change colors I can feel the most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner. I am so excited to share the beauty of fall time with Baby Babe this year! Last year she was probably enjoying all things Pumpkin Spice while she was growing and preparing for her birthday.
We have some friends who also love fall but they live in the south so they don’t really get the vivid colors and crisp air like we do. So, we are going to send them a box of fall time things! There’s no way I can pull it together in a day so I am doing one little project at a time.
Aspens changing last September during our annual camping trip.
Today I made some “dancing ribbons” inspired by a post over at A Moment in Our World. She has some really fun ideas for using curtain rings for crafts. I might have to do some of the Christmas ideas this winter!
The ribbon dancers were really easy to put together during morning nap time. No measuring, no glue, the only materials were curtain rings and ribbon!
I think they will be fun to wave around while listening to music and having four basic colors to talk about will open up a lot of discussion this season while we are outside collecting leaves.
We will be sending these off to our friends in their fall care package and keeping a few for ourselves, but there are more to share! Head over to my Facebook page to enter to win a set of ribbon dancers for your kiddo! I’ll pick a winner on Sunday night (August 24, 2014) and send them on your way so you can start celebrating the season with color! 🙂
